Day 9

Today I get to share a picture of the person who has gotten me through the most.   That person is, of course, Jacob.

He has been a big part of my life for the past ten and a half years.  He has seen me get angry, be upset -- he's seen every side of me.  He's always there to encourage me, make me laugh, and take care of me when I'm sick. 

When we lived in Chickasha I was finishing my last semester of college and he was working three jobs at the university.  He got off work one night at midnight and went to the store and got $40 worth of medicine and soup when I was sick.  We also missed our honeymoon because I had kidney stones -- he was there to take care of me and chase down the nurses in the ER while we were there. Ha.

He does these sweet little things from time to time to let me know how special I am. He makes me feel safe and he goes out of his way to take care of the boys and me -- to make sure we have everything we need. He is the greatest guy and I'm so thankful that he is in my life.
