Day 14

Who are the people you couldn't imagine your life without? For me there are the obvious ones -- Jacob, my boys, my parents, even.  My world would be a very different place if they weren't in it.

Today's challenge is to post a picture of someone I could never imagine my life without.  I am always talking about my husband and my boys so today I wanted to take the time to talk about some one else who means a lot to me.  My best friend.

This is a picture of my best friend, Denisa, and my two little gremlins.  As you can see she is smiling and they are making faces.  This is actually the norm for pictures of Denisa with my boys. They are so silly sometimes (the boys, I mean -- not Denisa.  Although, she can be silly, too, at times!)

Denisa and I met in a strange way.  We were both on this thing called Myspace and some one posted a quiz.  We both took the quiz for some reason and realized we had a lot in common. We had gone to high school together and I had even seen her at church but we were never friends. Not until we were adults on Myspace (wow, that sounds really lame! LOL). Once we met, we seemed to click. We always have a good time together and she loves my boys.  She will chase them around the park and go down the slide with them.  She sends them surprises (stickers, silly bandz, etc.) in the mail and I know she'd do anything for those two little boys.

I also know she'd do anything for me.  We have both learned that we don't have to always be strong around each other.  She is always there for me when I need her and I know if I needed something and she didn't have it she'd find a way to get it.  I would do the same for her.  She is the most loyal friend I have ever had.  She is always encouraging me when I need it most and she tells me the things I don't want to hear -- things that irritate me because, like I said, I don't want to hear them.  I know she is right though and it takes a real friend to be honest enough with you to tell you things you DON'T want to hear -- and they know you don't want to hear it!  We live almost 2 hours from each other so we talk on the phone often, email, text.  We have become very close. We tell each other everything and have a blast when we're together.  It's nice to have that "fun" person in my life, it's nice to have some one who loves my boys as much as she does, but it's also nice to have some one who doesn't judge me if I need to feel weak or fall apart.  I have Jacob for that but it's nice to have a second person for that as well -- kind of makes a girl feel special.

So, one of the people I can't imagine my life without is my best friend, Denisa. I think she's pretty awesome! Thank you for all you do and know you're loved!
